PlantStack is an open-source, self-hosted houseplant care system created by Jan Schneidt (sm4sh.it). It replaces proprietary cloud-based gardening apps with a local-first, privacy-respecting dashboard.

- **1-Click Full Backup**: Complete export and restore of SQLite database and photo directory in a portable ZIP archive.
- **Dual-Auth Security**: Open friction-free LAN mode by default, or password-protected mode with secure 30-day session cookies via `PLANTSTACK_API_SECRET`.
